1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all cleaning services (“Services”) provided by SimClean (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “your”). By booking or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services Provided

2.1 SimClean provides professional residential and/or commercial cleaning as described on our website or agreed at the time of booking.

2.2 The exact scope of work must be agreed prior to the service date.

2.3 We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service where conditions are unsafe, hazardous, or unsanitary beyond reasonable expectations.

3. Pricing & Payment

3.1 Prices are listed in a written quote.

3.2 Additional charges may apply for extra tasks, deep cleaning, or conditions not disclosed at the time of booking.

3.3 Payment is due at booking unless otherwise agreed.

3.4 Late or unpaid invoices may incur charges or a suspension of service.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

4.1 We require at least 24hrs notice for cancellations or appointment changes to avoid £30 cancellation fee. 

4.2 Cancellations made within the notice period will not incur cancellation fee.

4.3 If SimClean needs to cancel or reschedule, we will notify you as soon as possible .

5. Access to Property

5.1 You must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property at the scheduled time.

5.2 If our cleaners cannot gain access, a £30 lock-out fee may apply.

5.3 Security systems, keys, and entry instructions must be communicated in advance.

6. Health & Safety

6.1 Our staff will not move heavy furniture, climb ladders, or handle hazardous materials.

6.2 We reserve the right to leave any area deemed unsafe or presenting health risks.

7. Quality Guarantee

7.1 If you are not satisfied with any part of your clean, please contact us within 24 hours.

7.2 We will return to re-clean the affected area at no additional cost.

7.3 Refunds are not offered unless agreed under exceptional circumstances.

8. Damage & Liability

8.1 SimClean is insured for accidental damage caused by our staff.

8.2 Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of service.

8.3 We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage
  • Items not properly secured
  • Fragile or high-value items not disclosed in advance

8.4 Liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

9. Customer Responsibilities

9.1 Pets must be secured during cleaning.

9.2 Areas should be reasonably decluttered for efficient cleaning.

9.3 You must provide electricity, water, and adequate lighting.

10. Supplies & Equipment

10.1 SimClean uses professional-grade cleaning products and equipment unless otherwise requested.

10.2 If you request the use of your own products, SimClean accepts no responsibility for product performance or damage.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

11.1 We collect only the information necessary to provide our Services.

11.2 Personal details are never shared with third parties except for operational or legal purposes.

11.3 All data handling complies with applicable UK data protection laws and GDPR.

12. Changes to Terms

12.1 SimClean may update these Terms at any time.

12.2 Updated Terms will be published on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

13. Governing Law

13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

13.2 Any disputes will be dealt with under the jurisdiction of the UK courts.
